Paras Shah is unfortunately extremely unpopular in Nepal: it has a reputation for being an individual violent, addicted to alcohol and drugs and is suspected at least two murders.

It appears that Paras Shah is found at the Royal Palace on 1 June 2001, when the entire family of the then king Birendra, 19 people, was exterminated in circumstances still unclear and this was among the few to survive the massacre, for which his cousin Dipendra was accused (unjustly of course) ...
